Functional fitness at STM means training that enhances your ability to perform daily activities and meet specific challenges in your life. Whether you're an athlete, senior, recovering from injury, or working toward weight loss, our approach focuses on movements and exercises that translate directly to real-world activities and your personal goals.
STM operates with a collaborative team of independent coaches, each bringing their own expertise. While each coach manages their own scheduling and payments, we work together as a unified team. Clients may be shared between coaches based on specialties, and in emergencies, coaches can fill in for each other to ensure your training continues without interruption.
Coach Luke combines his experience as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with his background as a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and certified performance trainer. This unique blend gives him expertise in both rehabilitation and performance training, making him especially qualified for injury-sensitive programming and athletic development.
We conduct periodic assessments to track your achievements and align them with your goals. This ongoing evaluation ensures your training plan remains effective and responsive, adapting as you evolve. This methodical approach helps us refine strategies whether you're a young athlete, adult, or senior striving for a healthier lifestyle.
In emergency situations, our coaches support each other by filling in when needed to avoid canceling your session. This is handled seamlessly between coaches, with no additional coordination required from you. You'll still receive expert training that aligns with your program goals.

Coach Luke has extensive experience working with young athletes, from high school injury prevention screenings to coaching at Lancaster Catholic across multiple sports. We focus on building not just athletic performance, but character and resilience.
Our core coaching team brings diverse, high-level credentials: Coach Luke is a licensed PTA and certified performance trainer with Marine Corps background; Coach Kodie has over 10 years of fitness experience and a purple belt in BJJ; Tobias is NASM certified with Corrective Exercise Specialist certification. We also have additional backup support available when needed.
During your free 30-minute consultation, we'll discuss your goals, background, and preferences to match you with the most appropriate coach for your needs. Whether you need injury-sensitive training, martial arts instruction, performance coaching, or general fitness, we'll connect you with the right expertise.

STM specializes in working with individuals at all stages of life—youth, adults, and seniors. Our coaches have experience ranging from young athletes and high school teams to adults in their 70s and 80s. Every program is customized to meet the specific needs and circumstances of each age group and individual.
All new potential clients will receive one free 30-minute assessment prior to booking any sessions. This is done for health and injury history.
